Maria Allen, Senior Vice President and President, Americas, is responsible for the leadership and direction of BancTec’s business in the Americas including Sales, Hardware and Software Services, Business Solutions and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).

Maria joined BancTec from HP in 2010 where she was responsible for the global Financial Services Industry BPO and Applications services portfolio including investment and strategy operations. Maria joined HP/EDS in 1995 as an account executive; throughout her 15 year career at HP/EDS she had an impressive track record of driving performance and growth across the financial services business.

As an industry executive, she held key roles in the strategy and business development and transformation initiatives for a number of major accounts, resulting in several large contract wins. Throughout her career at HP she received various awards and recognitions including the “Client Industry Executive of the Year” award in 2006. With more than 28 years of diversified leadership and consulting experience in financial services, Maria has in-depth knowledge of banking and insurance business technology and operations. Before joining HP, Allen held business and technology leadership positions at AccuBanc, United Savings Bank, American Express and Fleet Bank.
