BancTec Names Maria L. Allen Senior Vice President and President of Americas
Veteran executive will be responsible for the leadership and direction of BancTec’s business in the Americas.
DALLAS February 15, 2011– BancTec, a global leader in transaction automation and outsourcing solutions has promoted Maria L. Allen to senior vice president and president, Americas. In this position, Allen will be responsible for the leadership and direction of BancTec’s business in the Americas, including sales, hardware and software services, business solutions and business process outsourcing (BPO).
Allen joined BancTec from HP in August 2010 to serve as the company’s group vice president of global strategy and market development, a role in which she worked with individual business units to develop BancTec’s strategic plan, identify market expansion opportunities and drive top-line revenues.

Before BancTec, Allen was vice president of global financial services outsourcing for HP Enterprise Services, where she oversaw worldwide BPO operations, portfolio strategy, and business development. Allen served in a variety of management and consulting roles during a 15-year career with HP Enterprises Services (previously EDS) and AT Kearny.
Prior to this, Allen held business and technology leadership positions at AccuBanc, United Savings Bank, American Express and Fleet Bank.
