BancTec Names Vice President of Investor Relations

BancTec, Inc. today announced the appointment of Kathy M. Costner as vice president of investor relations.
“We are pleased to welcome Kathy Costner to BancTec,” commented Jeffrey D. Cushman, chief financial officer, senior vice president of BancTec. “She offers a wealth of experience and knowledge in investor relations, and we are fortunate to have someone of her caliber on our team.”
Ms. Costner previously served as vice president of Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation. Prior to holding that position, she served as executive vice president of investor relations for North American Oil and Gas in Lafayette, Louisiana. Ms. Costner has also held corporate investor relations positions for Chieftain International, Inc. in Edmonton and Alberta, Canada, the Exploration Company of Louisiana in Lafayette, and was previously in institutional sales with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
Ms. Costner earned a master of business administration degree from the University of Louisiana, a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina, and a bachelor’s degree from Sacred Heart College in North Carolina. She is a member of Financial Management Association International, the National Investor Relations Institute and is a board member of the Dallas*Ft. Worth NIRI Chapter.
