11.06.2008 — Dallas, Texas

BancTec, a global provider of advanced, high-volume document and payment processing solutions and services, announced that Paul Diegelman, divisional vice president of finance and accounting BPO, has been invited for the 11th straight year to serve as a faculty member at the University of North Carolina Treasury Management Series, to be held at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. His presentations and panel discussion will take place on Monday, November 17, 2008.

Mr. Diegelman’s two presentations will focus on advanced receipt processing and paperless checks. His seminar on advanced receipt processing will examine existing and emerging receivables services and techniques that can make accounts receivable processing more effective as well as improve credit services and customer relations. In his talk on paperless checks, Mr. Diegelman will discuss how treasury managers can benefit from the "electronification" of the paper check.

For more than 30 years, the UNC Treasury Management Program has set the standard for professional development among treasury and cash management executives. Featuring a dual-track curriculum that targets the needs of newcomers as well as experienced treasury veterans, the program boasts more than 10,000 alumni.

"Paul is in high demand for his advice, ideas and solutions." said Michael J. Alfonsi, Managing Director at AnalyticResults, who is the program’s co-director. "His deep experience coupled with his interactive style not only serves the program academically – but also translates into productivity and cost savings for our participants as they drive vital business performance improvement projects when they return home. We’re pleased to have him lead the program’s learnings and insights on advanced receipt processing and the impact of paperless checks – two of the hottest topics in the payments arena - where both significant expense dollars and working capital exposure can be saved."

Mr. Diegelman is responsible for developing and expanding the company’s position as a leader in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and managed services outsourcing markets. He has a deep background helping clients in various industries improve their Order-to-Cash and P2P processes, as well as helping them enhance the performance of their accounting operations. Prior to joining BancTec, Diegelman served as a business development executive with Regulus Group, a leading provider of transformational and transactional BPO services for the improvement of client revenue management processes. He has also been a vice president with Mellon Global Cash Management, a financial analyst with Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, and a senior consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co.

BancTec has built a global BPO practice with facilities throughout North America and Europe. The company is recognized for its expertise in remittance processing, revenue cycle management, and transactional content management, which help many of the world’s largest organizations improve internal business processes while also reducing costs.
