BancTec Speakers Share Expertise at TAWPI 2006
Global Leader in Document and Remittance Processing Highlights Real-World Success Stories
06.09.2006 — Dallas, Tx
BancTec, a global provider of document and remittance processing solutions, today announced that Neil Snowdon, vice president of global product development, and John Fox, subject matter expert, will present real-world client success stories as featured speakers at The Association of Work Process Improvement (TAWPI) Forum and Expo, taking place in Chicago from June 11-14, 2006.
Snowdon’s presentation, “Wireless Real-Time Validations in Process Automation,” will demonstrate how using mobile technology to incorporate real-time validations can reduce common inefficiencies in the processing of paper application forms and have a positive impact on costs, transaction times and approval rates – leading to an improved customer experience. The case-study-based presentation is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13.
Fox will speak on the topic “Distributed Capture in a Centralized Remittance Processing Environment.” Attendees will gain insight into the challenges faced when a utility company purchased another utility organization that was located in a different geographic region. The session will address how to implement a distributed-capture model with a centralized computer infrastructure; the issues and implementation options when segregating work on a shared system; and the requirements for a successful implementation of a multi-site, distributed capture remittance processing solution.
The presentation is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday, June 12. John Wolfram, senior analyst for Exelon Energy Delivery, will also speak at the session.
